The Arches Fort was in a fab location within the old city. The building itself was delightful. Traditional and a real experience. The staff were lovely and accommodating - we were upgraded for free which we were grateful for as I was unwell for a day. The breakfast was pleasant and we appreciated that they introduced us to local Sri Lanken breakfast options as well as our western go tos! They were delicious.

The bathroom wasn't great - the shower tray was split and leaked water, and it could have been a little cleaner. It was a little noisy as it is an old traditional property and a little pricey compared to other options and locations.

Best breakfast I’ve had in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 lovely ☺️ great location central to everything. Double Room on ground floor quite small and window overlooking courtyard. Bit noisy from kitchen first thing. Great bathroom and very clean. Had a nice stay, breakfast from 8am so bit later than usual. Kitchen staff so friendly and helpful 🥰

Centrally located within the Fort, but quiet. Staff were very kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast, both Sri Lankan and western options.

Great place in the middle of Galle Fort for one night stay. The room was clean with a double bed (booked as a single person). Had a kettle with large bottle of water provided as well as tea & coffee. Breakfast included with option of Sri Lankan or western, though it only starts from 8am making it a bit tight for early departures. WiFi provided and worked well. Hot water too.
