Arches Fort

Fantastic location. Lovely old world charm. We enjoyed the balcony over the street, outside our room. The staff were very friendly and keen to please. Good breakfast.

The new shower cubicles are no match for a proper shower. And the door came off its runners, but that was fixable.

Great location within the walls, a very colonial feel about the property. A choice of either Sri Lankan or western breakfasts, both of which were excellent, the staff and management were very good. We would return.

We had a lovely stay at Arches Fort. The location couldn't have been more perfect- right in the heart of Galle Fort, mere minutes away from the best restaurants, cafes and viewpoints in town. You can tell that the property has a history and a personality, and it really added to the old- world allure and charm of our stay. The property managers and staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The room itself was charming and comfortable. A special mention of the breakfast- we indulged in the Sri Lankan breakfast option during our stay, and loved the egg hoppers, rotis and dhal served up every morning. A great stay overall!

The shower was a tad complicated to use, and the bathroom would emit a strange smell at times. But really minor inconveniences in an otherwise terrific stay.

しいてあげれば、朝食が早くても8時からというのが、早く出発する人にとっては不便かもしれないということくらいでしょうか。

La habitación era muy pequeña

Centrally located with restaurant on the patio and inside. There are several,seating areas. Generous Western and Sri Lankan breakfast included. The rooms are all a little different and in different locations and are all very clean. We had a medical emergency and they were very helpful and caring during the hospital stay. The staff and manager are stellar. I will return. .
