The location is good

This property is nowhere near as nice as the photos. I have attached my own photos to this review. The minute I walked in, I wanted to leave. I believed the positive reviews and can now only assume these are fake or bought. Upon arrival, the actual room is much smaller than the photos, the air and bedding felt cold and damp. Mould covered the ceilings, the bedside lampshade and the net curtain, paint was chipping off the walls. The quality of the place is generally bad and neglected. The fabric of the bed base was falling apart, and many of the furnishings in the photo were simply not there - even the rattan lampshades in the photo weren’t there, the bulbs were bare on the walls. No extra blankets and the tiny ‘heater’ just blew out cold air, so I had to sleep in all of my clothes, layer towels and my jacket on top of me to get to sleep - and still wake up freezing throughout the night. The room felt like a wet, cold concrete box. The rooftop is also nothing like the photos. None of the lovely furniture you see is there. This also felt a major disappointment as the weather was definitely warm enough to sit out, had there been some furniture to do so. Don’t be fooled by the breakfast photos either. Instead you’ll get saltine crackers, a stale roll and a juice box delivered in a brown paper bag. When I contacted booking.com about this, they contacted the property who immediately agreed to refund me 2 nights out of the 3 I booked - no questions. This clearly shows they are aware of the neglected condition of the property. When I pressed for a complete refund, which I still feel is fair considering I would now have to find a more expensive new place last minute, the property simply stopped answering calls.
