The stay was great. The space is clean, simple, and very comfortable. I especially liked the calmness of the place.

The guesthouse's family atmosphere was a huge plus. We felt right at home, but with added comfort.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. This property and the company running it were TERRIBLE in many different ways. First of all, we got robbed STRAIGHT OUT OF OUR LOCKED HOTEL ROOM. Special family jewelry and $500 cash while we were gone for only a few hours. We had the police come and they confirmed the robbery happened by someone with a key… meaning someone in the company robbed us, or someone made a key at one point and gave it to someone else. THEN to make matters worse, the company was extremely unhelpful. They wouldn’t give us a new room and wouldn’t refund us for our stay….which was only 100 euros. They didn’t take any accountability or even express any empathy. So our safety was compromised, we lost money and special jewelry and they did nothing to help us. Do not stay at this place. And a very important thing to know is that this “hotel” is not really a hotel, but rather one small random property that a larger company in Lagos owns called Dream Algarve. So try to make sure when you’re booking any places in Lagos that you read the fine print and see if Dream Algarve is the main host and DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Also, the place was a shit hole for what you paid for. Our window wouldn’t open. It was just a metal Grate so we had no natural light. the shared bathroom was incredibly nasty and the floor would get soaking wet when you would take a shower. The pillows were small and flat and you could hear everything in the building so it was loud and hard to sleep. The police even said that you could find something much nicer for cheaper. Finally, upon arrival, you have to go to one place to get the keys (that someone could have copied) and then a totally different place to have your stay and it’s just such a pain in the ass. This place sucks in every way imaginable.

First and foremost, we got robbed from inside our locked hotel room, so we felt completely unsafe they didn’t have any other options to move us AND they didn’t refund us. It was really loud on the street. You couldn’t open the window. The sheets and all the towels were washed with extremely toxic and perfumy detergent and it was so intense to smell and sleep on…not good if you’re even the slightest bit sensitive to that. The bathroom was shit because the shower just blasted water all over the floor, everywhere…The breakfast included was shit - just a hard piece of bread and a yogurt… to check into the property you had to do to two different locations, one location to get the key and then walk all the way to the hotel at a different location. It was not a good situation. Don’t stay here.
