Ashlee was wonderful nothing was any trouble ,if I had any questions I just called him and he was here in minutes,

The view is something else ! The beds were comfortable, rooms are clean and cosy staff is pleasant and very helpful.

Took a last minute booking and had my room ready and welcomed me in person within half an hour of my booking. Nice quiet location, off the beaten track but not too far from Neath to be a long way from my evening meal! They were also kind enough to send me without charge a book I stupidly left behind that was covered by the duvet I threw off when I got up in the morning - way better than the Royal Victoria hotel in St Leonards who said they couldn't find the electric toothbrush I left behind last year when I called them a few hours after I left!

The unconnected local pub, The Crown & Sceptre Inn, let me down after saying last food orders were 8.30pm and when I turned up at 8.20pm, the lady behind the bar went into the kitchen and came back 5 minutes later saying they were no longer serving as it was 8.30pm, which it still clearly wasn't, but I didn't want to push it, as who knows what would have happened to my food!

We stayed in the self-catering accomodation for a family Christmas local to other freinds in Wales. The location and provisions were ideal .... very comfortable and well furnished accomodation ... and the host not only very helpful - but soo thoughtful as to have installed a large beautifully decorated Christmas tree ! We loved our stay here.

Always try to stay at Cwmbach when I visit home, so is not my first time there. The B&B is a short drive from Neath, and Is within easy driving distance of Swansea and the Gower. There’s a decent pub in walking distance called the Crown and Sceptre, who keep an excellent cellar and do pretty good food. The grounds round the house are beautifully landscaped, and it’s worth a visit just for that, especially in the Autumn.

Very little to dislike, the only bugbear is the one track road up is shared with one of the local golf clubs whose members appear to think they have priority. That apart, have no complaints.
