The White Box Boutique House

We really enjoyed the vibe of the property, the decor was very lovely, very unique. The location was perfect for a city break, and although in the heart of the city it was very quiet especially at night. The self service continental breakfast was enough to prepare you for the day.

Unfortunately, we had a few maintenance issues in the room which we reported everyday of our stay and was not fixed. This was very disappointing and did affect the enjoyment of our stay.

We were 3 people but only one pair of keys were given, but we needed a spare one.

Good Location and the male staff member we spoke to on our first day was extremely helpful. The breakfast was also good

Our room, we had room 6 which is an attic room. It has no natural light as the blinds on the Velux windows don't open. The room lighting was inadequate. Other rooms that we saw were significsntly better. There were no drawers and the bathroom smelt of damp. Please note the stairs, we had to climb 5 flights of stairs to reach our room.

The listing said "parking garage" and then separately that you can pay to park nearby. Due to it being listed at 2 different lines I incorrectly presumed that they had a garage as part of the property. They dont you need to pay for a public car park a 4 minute walk away. The toilet was broken and flushed all night. Though I couldn't hear it. The beds were incredibly hard and we all slept badly as a result

Die Lage in der Fussgängerzone ist sehr gut, leise. Zentral. Das Frühstück ist gut. Eine charmante Unterkunft.

De ligging was goed

Het was zeer gehorig. We verbleven op de 2e verdieping en hoorde letterlijk elke voetstap die onze bovenburen zette en ook de trap die naast de kamer ligt was zeer gehorig. Als je een goede nachtrust zoekt zou ik dit hotel niet aanraden.

Local decorado com muito bom gosto e amplo. Cama confortável e com boa roupa de cama. Mini frigorífico disponível no quarto. Ambiente limpo e agradável, espaçoso para 1 ou 2 pessoas. Espaço comum do pequeno almoço muito agradável. Globalmente gostei mas achei um pouco caro, considerando que não consegui aproveitar do pequeno almoço por incompatibilidades de horário.

Uma vez que o apartamento é umas águas furtadas, o barulho da chuva pode incomodar o sono (aconteceu me na segunda noite). Uma das 2 janelas do teto (de onde entra a luz natural) estava com o a cortina avariada, tornando o ambiente um pouco escuro. O pequeno almoço é servido só a partir das 8h, sem possibilidade de ser antecipado em caso de necessidade, o que o torna muito pouco prático para quem tenha um compromisso profissional ou queira começar o dia cedo.
