Nice owners ready to give an advice about Bukhara, where to eat and how to move around the city

15 minutes walk to the historical centre of Bukhara, very quiet area, easy to find, good shower, very cheap private rooms. Good Wi-Fi.

My room was cold, they keep the heating at the very lowest and the rest of the house has no heating at all.They told me not to eat or drink in my room but the kitchen was freezing and so dirty. Awful smell of sewage coming from the not very clean ensuite bathroom. My pillow case and blanket hadn't been washed. The bed was a slab of concrete, kept on waking up all night. They keep checking that you don't put and extra drop of water in the kettle, no tea/coffee and they look at everything you touch like you're trying to steal from them. I felt very uncomfortable.

Very clean, very well maintained. The hosts are very friendly, kind and accommodating. I felt very comfortable and in good hands. Top central location: everything within walking distance, including sights. A very nicely designed courtyard surrounded by grapes also invites you to relax and exchange with other travellers. This is real hospitality. My recommendation! (Laundry & use of cooker fee $2 each).

Khan Rooms is a traditional Bukharan house. You become a family member as you arrive. Mr. Khan served me breakfast as soon as I entered. He gave early check-in without any questions. There are memorabilia from 100+ years in the house and fresh grapes that you can pluck from the vines. - The rooms are spacious, bathroom clean, and AC powerful. - The real highlight is the family. I enjoyed talking to them and learning more about Bukhara. Mr. Khan even gave me his bike to ride around. It is a 10-minute walk to the Old Town. - The nearest bus station is a 5-minute walk. The bus from the train station also stops here. - Supermarkets, bars, and restaurants are all within a 10 minute radius. It's a perfect place for solo travelers, couples and family alike.

This is a lovely place and a great value. The room was lovely, clean, specious and light. Very peaceful with relaxing court yard. The owners are friendly and speak English as well as Russian. About 15 walk to the historic centre and just 5 min walk from the bus stop from the station ( if you don't want to fight with the taxistas). Many shops and places to eat nearby. Loved it.
