"Sometimes you get less than you pay for."

Shared bathrooms are 'ventilated' by not having glass in the frame above the door so ' sound/smell privacy' from other guests was zero. Also fellow guests came home, presumably from work, by motorbike at 3:30am. If walking the Via Algarviana and you have the energy walk the extra 6km to the next town.
