What a superb location ! This is such a nice well decorated place with a splendid view on Knysna We surely will come back

you need to drive 15 minutes to go to Knysna , because the lodge is on the otehr side of the bay , but that makes the nice views !

An amazing property. Stunning views, spacious and comfortable rooms. Robyn, the chef, prepared dinners that were an absolute culinary delight. Breakfast was awesome too, prepared with so much love and attention to detail. We can wholeheartedly recommend Alkira and would love to visit again sometime soon.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Alkira Lodge, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredible host, Sam, and the attentive team, including the talented chef Robyn. Their hospitality truly set the tone for an exceptional stay. The lodge itself is stunning, with impeccably clean and beautifully designed rooms that made us feel right at home. The views of the Knysna Lagoon from the property are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset – a perfect time to enjoy a sundowner on the deck while soaking in the serene surroundings. One of the highlights was the luxurious pool and jacuzzi area, which provided a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. It felt like a private oasis with panoramic views that stretched over the lagoon, the ocean and surrounding hills. Breakfast at Alkira Lodge was a delight, with Robyn creating delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented dishes. Every morning was a treat, and the quality of the food added to the overall experience. The location of the lodge is ideal, offering a tranquil retreat while still being close enough to explore the charming town of Knysna and its many attractions. Whether you’re planning to relax or seek out adventure, Alkira Lodge is perfectly situated. A big thank you to Sam, Robyn, and the entire Alkira team for making our stay so memorable.
