Ukutula Resort

The host Wikus and partner, more and more over their huge puppy, Ozzy, he even took us on our morning bush walks, he visited us every evening to play with the girls.

Access road from the main road to the facility can be challenging. Inside the house there is only one challenge, there is no microwave oven

the staff are on point and very helpful, the setting is absolutely brilliant, the indoor fireplace was def needed and worked all weekend. zero cell reception so absolutely quiet and peacful

Because the unit we were in is off the grid the are no power points so should you wish use a hairdryer or charge any devices you need it make alternate plans. our gas geyser only worked for 2 mins at a time so hopingly that is remedied. the road def requires a higher ground clearance and preferably 4x4 traction due to all the loose stones we encountered on the way back

The scenery is amazing! We loved the peacefullness and serenity of Ukutula. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We absolutely loved the fireplace! The hosts,Markus and Lindie, were absolute sweethearts!! And we are already missing Ozzie,their adorable great Dane,who accompanied us on our walks. 🤗

We loved EVERYTHING.

My family and I enjoyed every moment of our stay. The place has breathtaking views. We enjoyed the solidarity of it all. It gave us some time to properly connect as a family without the hustle and busle of the busy lifestyle. The staff was extremely accommodating and gave us a warm welcome which made us feel right at home. Marcus gave us some recommendations for sights around which would be great for the kids. We will definitely be back for longer

The road leading to the resort wasn't great but the municipality was working on it as upon leaving we drove much better.

What a peaceful getaway - and wonderfully friendly hosts. The lake in front of the house is literally magic. Cant wait to be back soon
