Loved the peace and quiet looking out over the karoo landscape . Really nice having a fan in each room And a special thanks to Peter for being a wonderful host and for suggesting we also do the swartberg pass from the Prince Albert side

Nothing everything needed was there

De rustige ligging en het landschap. De charme van het huis.

De keuken was basic.. 1 kookplaat werkte niet. De verlichting van de keuken/woonkamer was onvoldoende.

It was the essence of the Karoo. Uncluttered, but nothing missing. Lovely unique woodwork, marvellous selection of books to read, efficient mosquito net and the outside braai and stoep were perfect.

The flies were a real pest, but there was a swatter. Maybe a useful addition would be a net ?

Vintage Haus ausserhalb von Prince Albert. Wer es simpel mag ist hier richtig, die Ruhe und Aussicht ist wunderbar.

Nicht ganz sauber, Ausstattung eher minimalistisch gehalten und spärlich - generell etwas hoher Preis für was man erhält. Ist schade, weil der Charme wäre da.

The peacefull enviroment

Very rustic and quiet. In/near an olive orchard. All the windows opened with screens. Although no needed, there was netting over the bed

Although great for an overnight stay, and due to the great restaurants in town, we didn’t need to do any cooking, it isn’t really set up for any real cooking.

We had a wonderful stay and a very friendly host. The location was not in the main road so we could not walk to the shops and restaurants. Everything was clean and we had hot water.

Our stay was short so we did not use the kitchen. If there was wood that would have been a bonus and very welcome. There was nothing that we did not like.

Extremely quiet and secure.
