A great place for all outdoor enthusiasts and vintage lovers! We only stayed one night and had a fantastic evening in the Karoo desert. Hot winds and a stunning starry sky!

This is the wrong place for someone expecting modern comforts!

"Highly disappointing."

Absolutely nothing. The shower pressure is the only good thing.

Everything. It was terrible. The host was unfriendly when I arrived. The services and standards are not acceptable. The price does not match what was received. The lack of utensils, the lack of air conditioning (with a broken ceiling fan), a tiny bar fridge which spoiled my food, the WiFi is terribly slow, absolutely disgusting condiments, little to nothing to offer. I’m highly disappointed in Booking.com for referring such a terrible place.

"The house was spacious but very dated."

The house is an old cape dutch style building and must have been lovely many years ago.

It was further out of the village than I expected. It's very old and needs a lot of upgrading.
