A perfect stop over between Johannesburg and Cape Town. Lovely gardens. Comfortable accommodation.

No fault of the property but there is not much to do in Richmond.

Public areas are charming and quirkily and beautifully decorated. Lovely pool with loungers. the garden and potagers are absolutely gorgeous. Incredible oasis in the Karoo. The new restaurant is great. excellent food and wine, lovely staff, gorgeous 'karoo' decor. safe parking.

The room felt a little rudimentary and small. not enough space to open suitcases comfortably etc (ive frequently stayed at the Sauer Groups hotel in Hanover which has really lovely spacious beautifully decorated suites)

Unique decor. Unexpected pleasure in a town we would normally drive right through.

Parking should be on the paved area. Especially as it was muddy. Suggest proper steak knives for lamb chops. And stronger coffee.

It is so pretty and unique. Comfortable bed and restaurant is amazing.

No wardrobe Room5- had to ask for hangers. Cord to ceiling fan and light broken Food in restaurant ( neck of lamb) was overcooked tasted like a reheated warmed up meal- POOR

The location is almost directly between Johannesburg and Noordhoek. The accommodation is comfortable and pet friendly with a swimming pool. You can order dinner and breakfast so you can travel light. The bed is very large and there is a bathroom with a big shower and a fridge.

The decor is rustic. I like it but other travelers must understand that. It is not self catering but the restaurant is excellent but limited to three or four dishes. There is a limited bar as well.

Staff were lovely and the new restaurant was fantastic. Loved the rusks.

Bedroom was cramped, fan did not work and mosquitoes were terrible.
