It was in the centre of the Old Town

Since the apartment is in street level, early Morning, workers are heard sweeping etc but it is in an excellent location

Located in the first part of the old town. Easy to reach on foot from the train station which is 10 minutes away through one main street. The old town is made up of narrow streets and traditional shops and restaurants which you can spend hours wondering around and exploring especially at night which has a particular charm. Small houses with ladies doing the traditional pasta and great small restaurnats with fantastic traditoinal dishes. The accomodation had all one could need for a good rest. It is located in a main street of the old town so do expect some pedestrian noises in the morning but it is part of living in the heart of such a beautiful town. It did not bother us or take any of our rest. We took breakfast which was served at one of the nearby coffee bars. Our host, Donatella was very kind and helpfull as she also provided us with transfers and other assistance. Do reach out to her for anything you need before the trip. Once there you will realise the good choice you have made as opposed to staying in the newer part of Bari which is like any other city around europe, but at Borgo Martino you will get to enjoy the real experience. The old town is super safe even if you have young children.

Very tasteful, clean, and conveniently located at the heart of Bari Vecchia. The hosts are very sweet and accommodating.

Location was right in the center of the old town and close to all. Room was very clean and comfortable but right on a street with a lot of foot and car traffic. Noise until early hours of 1 am in the morning

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable room in Bari Old town. It was a great base from which to explore Bari, with all the main attractions of the Old town being a short walk away. The famous Panificio Santa Rita is just across from this property and shouldn't be missed.
