Location is very central and everything is close

a little hard to find

We had a horrible stay at Corte Barone! Although the place and location are good, the host Nicola is one of the worst people we've ever met while traveling... He seemed nice before we arrived, but when we got to the house and experienced a problem with the hot water he showed his true colors. He didn't warn us about the problem which he actually knew about from the previous visitors. We wrote him about the issue, he read our texts and didn't reply so we called him and he got rude and aggressive on the phone. We said that this is ruining our trip and he ironically replied "Oh, it`s just one day". He later came to try and fix it saying that we should be thankful that he has come. He made a slight fix but overall the problem remained but he insisted that it's okay. He even started saying that we are "impossible" and pretentious, gaslighting us that we're causing problems. He directly denied us any kind of compensation or refund by saying "money is gone" (seeing that we're not going to come to an agreement we asked if he'll compensate us for the trouble or return the money so that we can move to another place while it was still the 1st day, but he denied). Made us spend hours waiting, checking the water, arguing wheather the water is OK while we just wanted to get this over with and move on with our vacation. If it wasn't for his wife to join us and to tell him that we're right and there's an actual problem the whole thing would've escalated. He denied any kind of money return (even for the next days) and forced us to stay and pray for the problem to be fixed on the 2nd day (which thankfully did, but we lost almost two days with this issue). He said that he compensates us with fresh towels for the problems (what a joke).

Friendliness and helpfulness of owners. Being met at property. Great location!!! Really loved where it is - steps from Norman castle and seaport, plus the "pasta ladies" and an excellent seafood restaurant

Having to give our information to a third party questionable entity - my iPhone questioned it. Shower was fine for us, larger people might have difficulty. Getting suitcases ( 1 each) upstairs

The property was well located and very clean. It was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay.

There was nothing we did not like.

The apartment was super cute and spacious. The little kitchen had everything you'd need. The location was perfect, overlooking a pedestrian street where local women made orecchiette.

The host was very nice and accommodating. The place was very clean,comfortable, and in the old part of Bar. Excellent choicei
