We loved the location in the heart of the old city. The street was particularly interesting as it is the same street where the ladies make the orrichette pasta. Our host, Maria, met us promptly and even allowed us to arrive early, which was a great help. She gave us a lot of additional information as well and was very responsive to all of our questions.

I wish the pillows had been a little softer, but that is more of a personal preference.

A beautiful property in a perfect location. It was a delight to be able to look out our bedroom window and view the Strada delle orecchiette. Maria was amazing, check in was easy, and she kindly provided details for places to eat. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

The location is excellent. Right in the old city, and right next to the castle. Everything is within walking distance - churches, restaurants, bars, supermarket, everything. The host is very friendly and explained to us all the things to see and all the best restaurants to try. She also gave us vouchers for breakfast at a nearby cafe - croissants and coffee, the standard Italian style breakfast. It was enough to get us started in the morning and we appreciated it since it was a surprise. The room feels surprisingly large, and everything was modern and very clean. The small kitchen area was really useful to microwave some leftover pizza from our city visits, and we spent several evenings at the small table, planning the next days visits. Even though it's right in the historic center, it was mostly very quiet and we had very restful sleep during all the nights. The food in Bari was outstanding and we want to taste it again! Overall it was an excellent vacation and we strongly recommend this location! When we come back to Bari we'll be coming to this location again!

Some people complained about difficult stairs but we found them okay. There is only one floor to climb and it's not that difficult. The bathroom is a bit on the small side, but it mostly wasn't a problem. The shower is the one tricky thing - if you are a larger you may hit the shower walls with your elbows. As some other people mentioned, there is only entrance window, but we found that that gives enough light in the room. Anyway, we spent most of the day visiting the city. Overall, our stay was excellent, and all these "complaints" are very minor. We'll definitely be coming back to this location, we loved it.

excellent location, facilities, fantastic host

Great location to explore the old town and great places to eat and drink nearby. The accommodation is right in the thick of it with local markets and pasta grannies right at the doorstep. The host Maria was so friendly and she helped us book dinner on our first night after a late arrival! She also gave recommendations on which sites to visit, all walking distance. If you have a hire car it's probably not the most convenient place to stay as there is limited parking.

Everything was really great, the place, the host, the localization. Highly reccomend!! <3

The charming room in the heart of the historic district provided an authentic and immersive experience. Right outside the place, you can see local women making pasta and explaining their wonderful traditions. The host was so kind and available and shared amazing recommendations via text during our stay. I can't wait to return for more unforgettable memories in beautiful Bari.
