Easy, free, off road parking across from the hotel. Close to the Bude Canal and tourist walks. Close to shopping. Staff were most helpful throughout my stay. I ate dinner in the hotel and it was good value and my server was knowledgeable about the menu. Breakfast was very tasty. My room had a big comfy bed with crisp sheets. Will definitely stay again.

Room was a decent size, bedding fresh and clean, shower good, parking across the road, bar downstairs, breakfast was good, restaurant was good

Price was a little more than we thought it merited, but we booked last minute so better pricing might have been available .

The friendly staff, the rooms were clean and comfortable. And the food was delicious

Shower had 2 modes - ice or volcano Stair are narrow to get to room. Fine for us, but less firm folk, or those with larger cases may struggle Noise from next room easily heard. Not talking or anything, and all quiet in the evening. Just lots of wardrobe and drawer banging at 7am in the morning - not the proprietors fault

Very good breakfast cooked to order. Evening meals also good with plenty of choice. Beds and pillows very comfortable. The bathroom, though small, was adequate and looked like it had recently been updated and it was all very clean and tidy. Our room had a decent view across to the Falcon hotel and beyond. Location peaceful at night. Nice atmosphere in the public areas and staff all very friendly. Good location for walks on the canal or coast path and shops and beach close too. Parking directly opposite the pub in the Falcon hotel car park which is a shared facility.

The hotel car park has quite a few trees. Parking under these trees which was inevitable unless you were lucky meant the car got splattered with bird mess. The bathroom had an electric shower and we had to fiddle around with the controls to achieve a constant comfortable water temperature - however, this was only a minor irritation.

The staff were helpful, friendly and kind, the room was clean and comfortable, the location was great - very close to the coast path where we were walking.

Can't think of anything. There was a little noise under the window in the evening, but we expected that in a pub.and it wasn't too much or too late.

It's a pub and a nice evening so people gathered outside which was fine. A couple of barking, ill-behaved dogs in the garden were irritating. I blame the hoo-mans

Good location. Clean and comfortable. All the staff I had dealings with were great. Live music on the weekend was a bonus!
