The Sportsman Chalets

Great little hotel to stay in if you are taking a ferry, though the room is so big and well equipped you could comfortably stay a week. The staff were very friendly and organised, the room was exceptionally clean and plenty of room in the car park (we had a big van). Not a lot in the area in the way of dining, but if you arrive on the right day, their food offerings looked quite good.

The access road was closed and I guess it would have been nice to know this as we arrived at night. Not the hotels fault, but an inconvenience winding our way through the back streets at night with a van.

Absolutely spotless, great amenities. Superb pub food & staff. So friendly & welcoming. Just as described & just what we needed for weekend stay with 2 fur pensioners.

Stayed overnight. It's a Little out of town, but it's walkable and definitely driveable. In a village just on the outskirts of deal. Room was clean and tidy. It was comfortable and woke to peace and birdsong. The staff in the pub were really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Ate here last night very good value.

Everything was good.

Close to Deal

Nothing worked tv, cooker, cooker hood and half of the ceiling lights were out

Ants, dirty spoons dirty carpets. General upkeep not good

Attached to a cosy country style pub, serving lovely meals. Children and well behaved dogs allowed. Convenience store at the top of the street. 5 minute drive to Deal seafront ( or 35 minute walk)

Friendly staff. Clean.
