Very comfortable a spacious room. Luxury for a fair price.

Staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke good English. They went out of their way to help me. The facilities were great, clean, modern. It is a small boutique type place, only 4 suites with a big bedroom, good wifi, great big bathroom. Its quiet yet only 7 minutes to Ubud Centre. Very handy! A few good cafes nearby walking distance. Nice view of rice fields and trees. I stayed for a week and could have stayed longer.

Breakfast : See below This property is far enough from the busy Jalan Raya Laplapan, nights are peaceful. The view from the room above is stunning by clear weather on Mount Batur. It was very easy to rent a motorbike from this hotel and at a reasonable price.

Location seemed perfect on the website from the pictures supplied to Bookings by this property management and from most previous guests reviews but these are all obsolete now as there have been two major changes recently in the neighbourhood : a sports hall has been open, called Jungle Paddle Ubud, guests at DLobong can hear balls being hit all day long and into the evening. Also there are 5 buildings under construction right next this property which generate lots of noise and which when complete will block the view on paddies. (see 1st and 2nd pictures below) Breakfast was included in the rate, on the first day the only staff at the property asked us about our choice of breakfast for the next morning, it was brought to our room on time. Same for the 2nd day. However, on the third day we had to chase the staff to order brakfast which was delivered one hour late without any excuse nor explanation. Breakfast on our last morning didn't come at all and there was no one in sight at the property until check-out time when the caretaker finally showed up. Again no explanation, no excuses. Products served are average at best. The large balcony is empty, at least 2 chairs would have been appropriate. (see 3rd picture below) The water pump can be heard each time a guest takes water. The room is not well organised, there's a 3 meter long empty wall where they should have placed the wardrobe which is inside the batroom... There's no kettle and no free bottles of water like everywhere else in Indonesian hotels, whatever the category. The bed is not really comfortable. What we paid was really not good value for money. You can have a better deal in that area.
