Suryadina Guest House

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were so nice and welcoming. The location was excellent but quiet from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. We will definitely be back next time we're in Bali.

Had the most amazing time at Suryadina Guest House. The hosts were very kind and helped with everything we needed. Clean, spacious rooms with very comfortable bed and a nice breakfast on our private balcony. Location was great, right in the center but still in a quiet area. Loved everything, especially the sweet dog.

Very interesting pretty place. Our room (very clean, comfortable and attractive) was on the second level, with a balcony for sitting and breakfast that had a very nice view. The guest house is on an alley (GG Seruni) accessible by scooter but not by car. That was fine; we could easily walk to it even with our luggage. Around the corner on JL Sri Wedari there is a wonderful restaurant called Hujan Locale. We easily walked to the Monkey Sanctuary, the Museum Puri Lukisan, and to the Ubud Palace for the Legong/Barong Dance performance, as well as to the popular tourist shopping market. Across the alley is the Tropicana Laundry, which provided very good laundry service.

The location is great, 5 minutes away on the main road near great Warung, Spa Massage, Market and pharmacy. The owner was attentive when I reported that there was no hot water and immediately intervened and gave me a bag of fruit when I said I had to leave early in the morning and would not be able to have breakfast.

The cleanliness that actually doesn't exist completely. I know it's not a hotel but a Guest house, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be cleaned, because here the cleanliness is not to be improved but it was completely missing! Stained sheets, the yellow mosquito net on the bed, full of dust above that if you turned on the fan it would fly away with flies attached, not to mention as soon as I moved the bedside table to charge the phone, absurd dirt. Dirty bathroom tiles, cramped room and very low light with a musty and moldy smell. So dirty that on my second day at breakfast I asked for a banana pancake and found a nice long hair in the dough that was from the chef who has long hair, the owner immediately took care of making me something else but honestly I had gone hungry. It's a shame because the structure overall is pleasant, typical Balinese accommodations that stylistically recall a temple and the location is exceptional but it's not enough, a minimum of basic cleanliness is needed and honestly I don't know how people managed to rate it with a high score. The location is worth 10 but it's not enough, I wouldn't go back there again and I don't feel like recommending it, I stayed in other Guest houses during my stay in Bali, but I've never seen them so dirty.
