Een supervriendelijke gastheer Gus en zijn familie, een mooie schone kamer en een geweldige tuin waar je alle rust vindt. Dit ook nog eens op een fantastische centrale lokatie in het centrum van Ubud. Op loopafstand van restaurantjes, winkeltjes, de Ubud street market en het Ubud Palace.

I really enjoyed beeing here. Gus is such a kind soul who took care of me a lot. As i had a bike accident before i could almost just stay in my room. Gus entertained me a lot with his card magic tricks, brought me fruits and offered me to take me anywhere. All the best!!!

I loved that this place is off the beaten path and feels like a bird sanctuary! Gus and his brother were amazing hosts! And Gus does this amazing magic card trick that blew my mind!

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in Ubud in einer kleinen Seitengasse und ist absolut ruhig. Die Zimmer sind in einem wunderschönen Garten verteilt und bieten genügend Privatsphäre und eine wunderschöne Aussicht vom Balkon. Das Frühstück wird auf dem Balkon serviert. Sehr freundlicher Besitzer, aufgrund einer Krankheit mussten wir einige Nächte verlängern, was kein Problem war. Der Besitzer hat uns mit Namen gekannt und auch wenn man sich außerhalb der Unterkunft getroffen hat wurde man immer ganz lieb gegrüßt und ein kurzer Plausch gehalten.

The proprietor, Mr Gus and his family, are lovely hosts. Communications were easy via WhatsApp and because Mr Gus spoke very good English (with my inability to speak Balinese). The room was clean and cool with excellent WiFi, bathroom, bed and living space. The room had wide windows and was very light and together with the balcony overlooked a gorgeous garden and aviary. Breakfast was served on the balcony. The guest house is along a cobbled cul de sac and is very quiet with occasional pedestrians and motorcyclists passing along. A short walk of a couple of minutes into town. Perfect as a central location. Can’t praise it highly enough and very good value.

Loved how it was in dead center of the city and yet in an alley which made it a quiet place. The place is built in an authentic beautiful way with lush green gardens and beautiful architecture. The room was comfortable, had a four poster bed, a cupboard with locks, fridge and study table with a chair. There was a patio with a sitting arrangement as well. I was given a hair dryer and electric kettle on request. Hot water is available all the time. Mr. Gus was kind enough to offer to show me around as a solo traveller but the charges were really high so I managed it by myself. The room was neatly serviced every two days! Breakfast was fresh and really nice but it's placed outside your room without any cover. I got late one time and it had ants all over it.

Don't expect someone to be available at the reception area all the time. I had to move around to find someone and get help with things. I was only provided with two water bottles once when I requested for the electric kettle. There were no glasses or cups available in the room but were provided on request. The rooms are pretty safe but expect ants to come on from anywhere.

The place is ubud centeed, the room is clean and all staff are very nice. You might hear some birds in the morning but that is what nature sounds like. The place is very quite and very safe. I extended 1 more week after stay.
