"A little walk into the city but all the better for it"

It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The check in was seamless and the location, a 20 minute walk from the city was perfect for us.

Some aspects have been modernised really well but some are clearly a work in progress. The doors are old fashioned, the shower outdated but the bed was comfortable and the room spacious.

"Good place to stay for the price an location"

Loved how it was private access an how we could use the tv to our own advantage

The shower wasn’t great, just low pressure even tho I followed the instructions an there was mould in the bottom, plug kept clogging but not all major issues

Great location, short walk to York city centre. Lovely spacious room with everything you need. Free parking on site a real bonus. Tony was only a phone call away if you needed anything.

Could hear floorboards creaking in room above.

Cosy clean room in good walking distance from the centre (around 30 mins), great that we could keep the car there on the day of check out so could spend an extra day sight seeing. The host was great at communicating and letting us know how to check in etc.
