This is a charming place. Flavia will make your stay there memorable. Flavia went to the bus station to meet us, and at the end of our visit she walked us to the train station for our train to Florence. She is a warm and gracious host who takes enormous pride in her historic city, and she takes a personal interest in her guests and their comfort. Her B&B has some 14th century winding stairs which lead to an extremely clean and comfortable apartment. The bed was good, with high-quality linens. The bathroom shower was of the quality and design we have seen only in luxury resorts, and we loved it! Even though it was hot outside, our room remained cool. Flavia prepared a breakfast for us that reflected her dedication to personal attention: she made a delicious apple and raisin compote with organic apples from her own trees; she offered (and we enjoyed) Bialetti coffee, as well as espresso and hot milk; she offered local fruit and award winning organic jam and healthy bread; and she sliced local sheep and goat cheese for us to enjoy. Everything was beautifully presented on china and linen; it was thoughtfully prepared with care. Thank you, Flavia!”

Great breakfast options with an excellent selection of gluten free options. Flavia was an exceptional host! She helped us with dinner and gave us some suggestions for activities. She was knowledgeable in the local places that had gluten free options. Location is perfect for exploring the walking center of the city.

We were on the third floor. The stairs are not made for people who have problems walking.

The room was excellent and the facilities are in top conditions. The bed, a very important item is excellent, except for the cheap pillows.

No elevator and this can be a real problem if you carry heavy luggage. Instead you have a very narrow spiral staircase so this should be stated up front! For Older family members this is not suitable. Especially a handycapped person. Need a do not disturb sign.

A charming bed and breakfast run by an exceptional young lady. Plenty of space, lovely white bedding and towels, modern facilities and great breakfast.

The stairs are steep and narrow so may not suit everyone.
