Leider waren überall in meinem Zimmer Ameisen die später überall in meinem Gepäck rein sind. Die Dusche hat kaum Wasserdruck und mein Klodeckel ist locker und kaputt gewesen und jedes Mal weg gerutscht.

It was a basic pension house, old school style but nice I guess. The lady was nice too!

The room got really hot by the end of the day, even though we had both the air conditioning and the fan on. There was barely any water pressure in the showerhead, so we had to use the tap below and sit on the ground to wash ourselves. The man working there was very intrusive when it came to our privacy. On the first night, we asked to change rooms because it was so hot, but later that night we realized it was manageable. The lady kindly told us that we could move to another room the next day if we still wanted to. But then at 7 AM the next morning, the guy came knocking on our door to tell us we could change rooms. Seriously, 7 AM?! He kept knocking insistently, even though we were sleeping and didn’t respond. On the second night, we had no water in the bathroom at all, so we kindly asked them to fix it (turns out the water tank was empty). They sorted it out straight away, which we really appreciated—thank you! But then the next morning, the same guy came again at 6:50 AM to check something in the bathroom. Sorry, but what the hell? Why would you come to check the bathroom at that time without us asking for any help? After I left, my friend stayed on her own, and the guy came back again to ask her to vacate the room at 11 AM. She politely told him that checkout was at 12 noon, so she’d stay until then. But he returned AGAIN at 10:55 asking for the key… so she lost it and just left. The lady was nice, and the kids around were sweet too. The homestay itself was okay… but honestly, that guy was weird. Then again, there aren’t many options in Coron.
