Senmut Luxory Rooms

We spent 3 days in May at Senmut. Three minutes walk from the Nile where you can catch a water taxi to the East Bank. Thebes restaurant is close by and serves good food and cold Stellas. The room was immaculate and super clean. Breakfast was realy good. Yasser, a family member of Sayed made sure we had coffee very early on the terrace. Try Yasser's dinner menu! The terrace at Senmut overlooks the Nile and is the perfect place to watch the sunrise and sunset. Sayed, the owner was a magnificant host and takes pride in his hotel. He is currently building a swimmingpool and by looking at the work already done and the landscaping in progress, it should be completed very soon. We had an unfortunate experience in loosing a purse in a taxi on our way back to the airport. We contacted Sayed and he managed to trace the taxi driver and retrieve the purse. We met up with him a couple of days later in Cairo where he gave us the purse. Thanks again Sayed for walking the extra mile!. The family will back with more family members as Senmut exceeded our expectations. This is a place to use as a base to explore Luxor. Sayed can arrange all your tours and activities! Attentive staff, breakfast is good enough.

Location is not ideal, you have to cross every time by ferry from Luxor center. In addition, it is very poorly isolated, there are all kinds of noises coming from outside. I slept very badly, heard noises from the animals and cars.

Owner (Said) and staff were helpful and kind, very good location, would definitely recommend it. Fantastic experience.
