Sharing the bathroom

It’s a decent room not very far from metro station where you can catch the metro to go to the airport which was important for us. The room was spacious and we have access to kitchen.

It’s quite old and bathroom requires some renovation…the doors and floors of other rooms make so mych noise that you feel like it’s in your room. We could hear neighbours going to toilet at night. The towels were also a bit used and didn’t look/smell fresh.

Margarida is a very friendly hostess. A large apartment. I was lucky to have quiet neighbors.

It's 15 minutes walking from the metro. It is quite far from the center and the main attractions. It takes about an hour to walk. I had to take the metro. The apartment is large and was gorgeous 30 years ago, but since then nothing has been changed or renovated there. To put it in a nutshell, as about the whole of Portugal: THE FORMER SPLENDOR. The windows to the balcony are very difficult to open. The pillow was also about 30 years old, it stank so much that it was impossible to sleep on it. I highly recommend replacing the pillows! The bed linen was also stale. Or maybe it was the smell of a 30-year-old mattress.

Wonderful host, big spacious flat, great decor, great comfort.

Everything was great. Margarida is great host, she was helpful and gave us recommendations what to see and what to do. Place was clean and comfortable, really close to the city by metro and by bus. With great view from balcony and fully equipped shared kitchen, as well as comfortable living room to sit and relax.
