L’alloggio che ho trovato era ben diverso da ciò che mostrava online: appena entrato sono stato accolto da un odore sgradevole che rendeva impossibile sentirsi a proprio agio. Le condizioni generali erano scadenti e assolutamente non in linea con la descrizione. In caso di problemi, lo staff è stato praticamente inesistente: nessuna risposta, nessun aiuto, nessuna soluzione. Ho avuto la sensazione di essere lasciato completamente solo. Per questo, in base alla mia esperienza, sconsiglio vivamente di prenotare: si rischia solo di rimanere delusi, di ritrovarsi in un alloggio che non corrisponde alle aspettative e senza alcun supporto quando serve.

I can’t rate the accommodation itself because I didn’t stay there — I wasn’t even able to check in. So, I’ll just talk about the owner, who is completely irresponsible. After I made my booking, some of my plans changed, so I requested a free cancellation. Since it was a non-refundable booking, the owner needed to approve my request manually. However, I never received any response through the app. I then tried to contact him directly by phone and WhatsApp. By the way, if he didn’t want to approve the cancellation, that’s perfectly fine — it’s his choice, and I respect that. The problem is that he completely ignored me. For more than 15 days, I kept trying to reach him. When I finally managed to contact him on WhatsApp, he said he couldn’t help and that I needed to contact Booking.com since I paid through them. That’s totally wrong and shows that the owner doesn’t even understand Booking’s policies. I tried to explain that he just needed to approve the request and that Booking.com would handle the rest. I even sent him screenshots from the app to prove it, but he refused to listen and kept insisting that only Booking.com could cancel it. So, I contacted Booking.com to show him he was mistaken. The agent tried to reach him while I was on the call, but of course, he didn’t answer. They even sent him an official email — still no response. When I followed up with him the next day and told him that Booking.com confirmed he was wrong, he blocked me. When I tried to contact him again from a different number, he blocked that one too. On the day of my booking, I arrived at check-in time but couldn’t find any reception. I rang the bell — no answer. And since he had blocked me, I couldn’t even call him. I waited for more than two hours on the street because he simply didn’t care. Eventually, Booking.com customer service helped me and relocated me to another hostel. I really don’t recommend staying at this place.

Location is fine, the northern lights bus stops at this side of the bridge as well. A grocery shop is very close.

It was too hot, no oil to fry something on a pan in the kitchen, it's not written in the description that I get a towel so I wasn't prepared for it, the beds are the lowest quality, thin tin plus plastic, no lockers, everything falls on the ground, mess on the floor inevitable.

Überall waren viele Spinnen. Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen, die Wohnung war sehr warm, dadurch konnte man nicht schlafen

It was the worst Hostel i‘ve ever seen! Really dirty! There is no place for your bags, suitcases, or belongings, not even on the floor.. Very very small room for four people. No Handsoap first night! The bathroom was very dirty and disgusting. I couldn't sleep all night because of the intense heat in the room and the bad smell.

I stayed in a private room and 2 nights i was alone in all the house so perfect for me. Good price. Full kitchen. It's just a few minutes to the famous church. The area is very quiet. Supermarket spar 2 streets away. Buses stop next to church too! And of course you can cross walking the bridge in around 15-20 minutes to the city center. I felt very comfortable. The room was a bit cold but ok.

Good price but they have no locks on the doors or lockers, and the bathroom is extremely smelly because it seems like they don't clean the floor towel.

Actually it was really good. Before booking with them I was looking the review from other people and I was stressed for that because of many bad reviews. I booked for 2 nights. -Good / pros It was close to the Cathedral and close to cable car Fjellheisen (8min walk) . Bus stop was 8 min walk as well and 25 min by feet to city center and you walk through the bridge . Well equipped shared kitchen , nice dishwasher bit I couldn't find dish liquid soap . Also the have bathroom with laundry machine ( i didn't use it) and hair dryer. Room was good and provided small towels . Also heated . When I entered actually all windows was open and it was cold / chilled but during the night the have heating and heating floor . Cons Only one toilet with shower for entire house . Communication with the host ( i just asked for check out but no reply) . No wardrobe in the room also small bin in toilet full of paper . Small details that make difference - they should check and clean the bins daily , check the soap . In the share kitchen place a box and put name tags in fridge for food . Give instructions to guest what is free for use . But wardrobe in the room and basically answer / communication with the guests trough the booking messeger ... Price compare to other hostel in Tromsø was good .
