This is a cozy little hostel with all the basic facilities. You have grocery store nearby and also bus stops that can get you to Airport or the City Centre. I would totally recommend this place for a solo traveler as myself.

A nice location in Tromso. Near the ski lift. It's a cozy wooden house. Everything is there that one needs such as fridge, washing machine etc. The price for Tromso I guess is reasonable, as Tromso is a very expensive city in general.

There was a stale smell in my room when I was checking in. I had to leave the windows open in the freezing cold for an hour or so. Communication with the property owners is difficult when we needed them. This more of an Air BNB type flat-share accommodation, which is ok. However, only one toilet for everyone staying in the house which was occupied every time I needed it and had to wait.

We haven't really seen the staff, only when they came to clean the communal areas. It was cleaned every day by staff. We booked the double room, it was a good size. We could lock our room's door but not the front door. However, the area is very safe so no need to lock the front door. Kitchen/bathroom was well equipped. It's not a hotel room but it was really worth it for the amount of money we payed. It's very close to the bus stop and half an hour away from the city centre by walk.

Location was so nice. Easy access to lot of places.

It will be better if the outside lights are turned on. Because when it's snowing and dark, it's difficult to find the path.

Location was okayish near the arctic cathedral & bus routes - but end up walking everywhere. Was super cheap for Tromso so allowed me to spend my money on excursions - that’s where it ends

From walking in there is a strange smell at the property which never left and was impossible to mask/cover up, the rooms were very small with 2 bunk beds and 2 chairs very little room to move. Bunk beds were super uncomfortable - booked in all male dorm yet had females staying too. The shower/bathroom was not clean and was treated with the door on a diagonal. No real seating area other than a tiny kitchen table with 3 chairs or skinny bench on entrance way. Abysmal but cheap - crazily, realistically you arnt going to spend much time in the room/hostel so for a roof over your head it is what it is - however this is by far the worst hostel I’ve stayed in - if you like to have a chill during the afternoon - go elsewhere It didn’t spoil my trip but has potential to be so much nicer if at least a very deep clean to make it feel more presentable
