the place is amazing, it is in the middle of jungle, you can hear a lot of wild birds and other animals, amazing plants all around. the host and his wife were super nice, Fa is also amazing cook. would recomend the place for sure!

Amazing organic farm, beautiful location, warm and friendly hosts. Wonderful food

Very very basic. Needed a bigger fan, and more bedding for the 3 of us. We knew it would be basic though so it was good value.

The staff is very friendly ! Great bungalows, very good location (only 10’ away from the old town). I definitely recommend it!

The best, BEST plave to stay in Koh Lanta, hands down! On the east side of the island, so.much quieter, much more *authentic. Awesome food spot just 2 min drive from Easy Life (and Easylifes own Massaman was amazing, as all these reviews already say.) Fa and her husband, Man, along with their children make an incredible family, host and business. I was left to work in peace, but when I wanted social time I could easily come chat to them. Man has social skills! Introduced me to 9ther guests, to really have the vibe of a hostel. Its much quieter than west side, but for me, that was a PLUS! better people too ;) Cpuld even rent a scooter from them :)

Location/surroundings.

A lot. The owners tried to make out like they upgraded me on arrival and allocated me the bungalow on the far end of the garden. Broken fan, a disgusting smelly fridge & cockroaches IN the bed. I appreciate we’re in the middle of a jungle but no one wants cockroaches in their bed. I was stuck and afraid in the middle of the night and reached out to the brother in law who kindly helped out a few times and was very much appreciated as he was actually the only decent and seemingly genuine person there. I complained the next day and was moved to another bungalow, which was slightly better as there were no cockroaches in the bed at least. Apparently this was supposed to be the “Deluxe” bungalow. Not quite sure they know the meaning of the word. The new one had a Smelly dirty fridge which was worryingly hot, I told them about it but nothing was done. separate kitchen area with a filthy sink and a dish rack. No hot water, for showers or to make tea/coffee - you have to walk to the front and ask them every time you want hot water. I stayed 6 nights and had to ask for my room to be cleaned. But Fa would always make sure she popped her head out and made an effort when it was coming to the end of my stay to find out if I wanted to extend. There was a disgusting build up of wood from mites in various places in the bungalow. The whole easy life thing is a facade and they’re only friendly with you if you allow them to rip you off by arranging lifts/food/ bbq’s through them. If they can’t make any money from it, in the owner’s own words “it’s not a service we offer” when me and a friend who had a 8 month old baby asked for help. They apparently “cook” on site, but I ordered food twice and it miraculously appeared within minutes, which leads me to believe they buy from elsewhere, freeze and reheat. As above mentioned, the surroundings were the only good thing about this place, but after seeing their true colours I had to leave. Would not stay here again.

We loved the community feel of EasyLife. Man welcomed us into his home and taught us a lot about simple living. I loved the Coconut workshop where we worked as a team to create the oil. The food was fantastic - Man’s wife cooked a delicious Massaman curry with roti, the best in Koh Lanta! If you’re wanting to step away from the commercial life of travelling then we’d recommend Easylife. It felt like stepping back in time to a more sustainable, community orientated way of living. We loved it! Thank you Man.

Amazing stay with amazing people. Man and Fa really try to make you feel at home and help with anything you need. Easy living and back to basics! They're really passionate about their own organic fruit, which is great to learn about as well! Please try the Massaman Curry! It's the best curry I've ever had!

Matress was a little hard, but that's all. Back to basics which is a good thing to experience every once in a while!

Mama and papa, they are super sweet. Mama cooks really nice curry, and papa is always very helpfull and super chill. They grow everything in their garden, taking care of it all the time. I was there during the rain season so didnt have the chance to see it in full blossom but still it was very nice, cozy atmosphere.
