Dar Hammamet Guest House & Hammam

Me gustó todo. La ubicacion es perfecta, esta precioso, la cama comodisima, y el desayuno excesivo y muy rico. Un sitio encantador, de 10 indiscutible. Tuvimos la suerte de estar solos y en todo el Riad y pudimos curiosear todas las habitaciones...si una era bonita, la otra mas aun. Mi consejo es que si puedes, elijas una superior. La nuestra estaba muy bien, pero es que el resto son de pelicula. Agradecer la acogida de Enma y la sonrisa infinita de la chica que nos dió los desayunos . Un sitio para volver.

Pues nada...pero si hay que poner algo...la.lluvia, que nos persiguió toda nuestra estancia 🙂

A beautiful Dar situated in the walls of Hammamet Médina. Lots of free parking outside the walls. Manager Emma was very pleasant and informative. Upon request we received an upgrade from a double room with shower to the Royal Suite to compensate for the closure of the hammam and sauna during our stay. The Royal Suite is very beautiful with a separate living room and private outside courtyard with small table and chairs. It has the same small bathroom of the other room but does boast a bath spa tub in the bedroom. There is no kettle in the room but we could access the kitchen to make tea. The Dar also has a shared lounge, breakfast area and roof top deck. The towels and linens are decent quality. The bed is comfortable, hairdryer supplied. The heating worked well and could use the AC unit for circulation. The wifi is excellent; each room has its own connection. Daily housekeeping is offered. Breakfast is available from 8am. There was nothing open in the Médina for dinner in mid November but just outside the walls and across the street were lots of options as well as a grocery store.

WhatsApp the Dar before you arrive to get check-in information otherwise you will look like a crazed street person trying to break in. When we arrived there was no one here even though we had indicated on the reservation our time of arrival. Fortunately I had data so could send a WhatsApp, from which I received the door code. Then still had to wait a short time for someone to come and check us into the room, etc. The phone numbers provided on the booking.com reservation are not WhatsApp numbers for this Dar, we had to find it on the web. We were informed during check in that the hammam and sauna would be closed during our two night stay. This was very disappointing as was the reason we booked this expensive Dar. The manager did kindly agree to a room upgrade as compensation for this inconvenience which we did appreciate. Breakfast was good and enough but other than bottled lemon drink and packaged yogurt there was no fresh or even dried fruit, and the same uninspired omelet with processed cheese slice. And exactly the same both mornings. I would expect better for this Dar’s daily accommodation rate.

La localizacion y el silencio del hotel. Estaba muy céntrico y al lado de la estacion de Louage. Además del sitio privilegiado dentro de la Medina y con un desayuno supremo
