Dar Hammamet Guest House & Hammam

It’s a beautiful property inside the walls of the fort. It’s super clean and there is a large breakfast served. My lower rating came because there was no hot water during our stay and there was no working sauna during our stay so we couldn’t shower. We were given a 20% discount when I complained about the lack of the amenities which was appreciated but to still pay nearly 100 euros a night and not have things working was not a good value.

No había agua caliente, el spa estaba cerrado (sin avisar) y el desayuno es, en su mayoría, de bote.

C'est beau.

Pas d'eau chaude, visiblement depuis plusieurs jours, pas de communication sur le sujet. La deco est jolie, mais moderne, donc un peu froide, au fond comme Hammamet. D'autant plus que le responsable des lieux n'a pas daigné se montrer, donc ça laisse une impression très impersonnelle. Je préfère les ibis, au moins on n'est pas déçu.

Una estancia perfecta, ubicación ideal en la Medina, decoración preciosa, estado de las instalaciones inmejorable igual que la limpieza. Todo de 10. El desayuno riquísimo y el personal no pudo ser más amable!

A very nice hotel located in the medina, with a lovely terrace and a beautiful sea view. The small pool is only for cooling off, as it's too small to swim in. The staff is very friendly, but unfortunately not all of them speak English. Knowledge of French is recommended throughout Tunisia, as all Tunisians speak French. If you are driving, there is a quiet and spacious parking lot at the back of the old town, near the cemetery and one of the gates to the old town.

Nothing. We had a problem with the hairdryer in the room. It was damaged and causing a short circuit when plugged into the outlet. I hope the hairdryer has been removed as we asked.

La struttura è affascinante e ristrutturata con molto gusto, la terrazza è spettacolare e la posizione nella medina ottimale.

Il personale purtroppo non parla inglese e non è spiegato come si potrebbe usare l'hammam per cui in realtà non è un servizio utilizzabile. In camera non ci sono istruzioni per vedere la TV. Suggerirei di mettere delle istruzioni scritte in inglese che possano aiutare chi non parla né tunisino né francese . La camera avrebbe bisogno di un po' di manutenzione, la porta del bagno si staccava, il wc aveva l'anello rotto ...

Dar Hammamet is an absolute gem! I loved everything about my stay. Th place is tucked away inside the old medina but still very close to the beach and little cafés. My room was clean, cosy, and beautiful decorated. The staff were super friendly , kind and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and served with such care.

Taxis can not drive inside the Médina as the pathways are very narrow so I would suggest anyone wanting to stay here keep this in mind as you will need to carry your luggage in and out through the Médina . That said the place is very easy to find and I managed to wheel my suitcase through with minimal difficulty.

Perfect stay for long and short trips located in the middle of the medina. Rooms were clean and cosy with a great variety of good quality food for breakfasts. They catered to my friend's needs who was gluten-free. The hotel manager picked us up from the airport himself and also helped us out immensely throughout our trip organising taxi hires and suggestions on where to go sightseeing.

The hammam had broke the night before we arrived so wasn't fixed in time for us to use which was expected as we only stayed the one night.

tutto bellissimo, location top, struttura molto curata e pulita, unico punto non positivo è il prezzo che è eccessivamente alto considerato che hotel a 4 o 5 stelle hanno prezzi piu bassi.
