Amigos Dauin Hostel

Very nice clean modern and spacious rooms. Lots of places to hang wet clothes & diving gear. Short walk from Mikes diving resort and from restaurants. The staff here were so friendly, wish we could have stayed longer.

They don't serve breakfast and there is not really any options for quick easy breakfast nearby especially if you need to be up early for a dive trip.

Extremely clean with a modern room. Awesome location close to the beach, dive shops, and restaurants. Bong, the host was very helpful and efficient. He arranged a motorbike at a fair price, recommended great restaurants, cafes, and waterfalls to explore. The bed was comfy. The aircon was new and quiet. Numerous drying racks outside for wet clothes or dive gear. The wifi worked well. The free cup of espresso in the morning was the icing on the cake. 100% recommend

The room was a little small, but once we unpacked and used all the cabinets the space was perfect. The pillows were too big for the bed, so my wife and I had to fight for space--- this place was great, there is nothing serious to dislike.

The property was clean, comfortable and modern with a communal area. Staff were friendly and very helpful. It was in a quite area, just a short walk to beaches, the village centre and restaurants.

Lovely, friendly staff, Mr Bong was always available for information and help with organising anything we needed. Splendid view from the balcony of my room. Excellent facilities in the room, the refrigerator was a bonus. Wish we could stay longer.

+ good cleanliness + comfortable, big bed + reasonably fast and reliable WiFi + very friendly staff (especially Bong) + good location, just a few min walk from restaurants, mini-supermarkets and some dive shops in Dauin + relatively quiet neighborhood (except for some normal chicken/dog noises like everywhere in rural Philippines, but with aircon as white noise it was not very loud)

+/- room size is not too big, but appropriate for the cheap room rate

We had a great stay at Amigos Hostel. The room was super clean and very well furnished (made for divers) and was cleaned daily. Sir Bong made our stay perfect, we will miss his service and warm manner in the future. He helped us choose a dive center, through him we enjoyed great dives at Critters Republic, with pick up service at the hostel. Every day we had fresh papaya and cafe for breakfast, served with wit and good mood and conversation, which made our stay perfect. Thank you very much Sir Bong

Our stay at the Amigos hotel was wonderful, thanks to Mr. Bong and his team. From the very beginning, our request for a room selection before our arrival was satisfied. The advantages of the hotel are: the presence of hot water with good pressure on a permanent basis (except for the moment of emergency power outage), proximity to the beach, an excellent reef (you will have to walk, the area from Bngobongo to E-Fun), advice and help from Mr. Bong (tricycle order, advice on snorkeling places, excursions and logistics), very clean rooms, bed linen like in an expensive hotel, proximity to good cafes.

If there were no roosters and dogs, it would be paradise.

I stayed many hotels as business and leisure.Amigos is definitely a place I would want to return to if I went to Dauin. Rooms are perfectly sized for one or two people. They are well cleaned and equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, safety deposit box, wall-mounted TV, and hair dryer. I am a diver and need a hanging place for my laundry, and no way, it comes with hangers under sunshine!And I love hot hot shower, yes they have. The room is also equipped with wifi, which is perfect for web meetings. But my favorite part is the dining area in front of the front counter where I can relax as if I were at home. Every morning I am greeted with a cup of freshly brewed coffee and the smiling of MrBong and his staffs.This time, with special papaya! After diving, I bought beer nearby and enjoyed it here also. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I have refrained from commenting so far because I was afraid I would lose occasion for my reservation, but it was a really nice stay, so I am commenting to thank you. See you again soon!

Super clean, welcome was lovely, staff are attentive and easy going. The manager Bong, and his team really made our stay enjoyable. The fruit from the fridge was a nice touch.
