Amigos Dauin Hostel

We both loved our stay here, the staff were especially lovely. The owner gave us fresh papaya with condensed milk with coffee everyday and we had chats everyday, really making us at home. Rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable, having everything you could want.

Very friendly owner and staff, close to the beach and walking distance to several good restaurants recommend by the owner, we had everything we needed. Good value for money. We didn't spend much time in the accommodation as we were out diving all day but while we were there it was nice and quiet. I appreciated having some space tohang wet towels and swimwear outside.

5 stars across the board! They call it a hostel but the room definitely looks like something you’d get if you stayed at a 3 star hotel. The bed is so comfortable. Sheets and pillows are super clean. Honestly comparable to a 5 star hotel bed. I slept like a baby every single night. Black out curtains for when you want to sleep in, duvet, high quality pillows, a safe, hair dryer, hot shower, free cold drinking water, a mini fridge, a lot of sockets to charge your electronics on. They have thought of everything that their guests need . This place is just immaculate! They clean the place non-stop. Tv has all the shows you can think of. The staff are so attentive and thoughtful! Their manager,Bong,organized my dive trips in Dauin and would personally cut up fresh fruits for all their guests in the morning! Ate Vicky and Tessa knew how I take my coffee after day one. There is always someone around anticipating your needs. They don’t serve food but it was never a problem because restaurants are a short walk. Also, there’s a lady named ate Marilou next door who I asked to make me home cooked meals. The food would be waiting for me after a day of diving and the staff heats it up for me. Highest rating for customer service. The best part is,it’s so affordable. This place is worth way more than what they’re charging per night. But I hope it stays that way because I plan to stay longer next time!

Fantastic room, very clean and the bed is a guarantee for a good rest. Location is good too and right nex to the accommodation there is a very good restaurant. Overall the room and the place itself would be rated 10/10

The owner Bohol was initially friendly when it came to rent scooter through him, but the attitude changed when I asked some extra towels. The circumstances were exceptional, I got caught up driving the scooter under heavy torrential rain for one hour, I got back to the accommodation drenched wet, there was no electricity and I had to find a way to dry my clothes and backpack by the following morning as I was going to check out. I asked for some towels to try drying my clothes and absorb water in between them but was told "we cannot give you all our towels for your clothes". While I get that the towels may be limited I was hoping for some understanding too so that was a big let down

We were really happy to stay at Amigos Hotel. Very friendly hosts were always ready to help. Perfect cleanliness and comfort, there was everything we needed, always electricity and cold and hot water. We chose a room on the second floor and spent pleasant evenings on the balcony. Excellent location of the hotel, quiet and calm. The sea, market, shops and various cafes are located nearby.

Its more like a 2 or 3 star hotel. Very clean, quiet area, close to dive shops and restaurants. Staff are nice, and mr. Bong has your bag and will help you in any case. Highly recommend.
