"Relaxing, put my feet up and read"

Very tranquil place, secluded from everything. Being an old and historical place adds to that stepping back in time( only applicable if your old) view was spectacular.

This was my second stay with the fantastic place. Right back 100 years - in a most postive sense. Special thanks to my hostess who took special care of me - almost before I had asked for or even mentioned what I would have liked for related to the sleeping quarter. I felt most priviliged! The room was fantastic, the whole Royston Hall is a true historic gem which I truly recommend!

The road leading down to the Hall. No way two cars could meet- also on a motor bike I was a bit concerned: Steep, gravel, twisty and narrow road. But on the other hand: This is how it is and has always been! So keep it this way

Everything. Wonderful old house full character & interesting memorabilia, stunning but natural garden & unsurpassable view of the river. Very good breakfast on the patio enjoying the views & surrounds. Lovely host & staff. Highly recommended
