"A wonderful experience in a historical home."

We loved the beautiful old house. It has been well maintained and beautifully decorated. The staff were amazing - friendly and helpful. The dogs who welcomed us as we arrived were an added bonus.

Breakfast was fairly late. Perhaps an earlier option could be offered to patrons who need it.

"Nestled perfectly in the valley"

Absolutely beautiful to wake up here and just be surrounded by nature in this valley. This is the perfect romantic gateway, for 1 night, 2 nights, even a week! Would highly recommend it! The breakfast in the morning was phenomenal!!! We really loved our time here!

The fridge in our room wasn't in the best condition, but we didn't use it, so it's really a non issue

It is truly beautiful. Loved the 'oldness' of it. The room was very pretty. We took a walk in the forest. The little dachshund was our guide! She did a very good job!

"A retreat in a whole other world."

This is beautiful house, and very peaceful surroundings. It completely met my needs in being a retreat as I truly felt I was in a little private world, even though I was only 30 minutes away from home. There is a peace about the place, and the value for money is fantastic. The breakfast is exceptional!

The place could probably use a little bit of a spruce-up. Also, I didn't have a key to the main building and wanted to go write in one of the common rooms, but the building was closed off because it was a Sunday, which was a bit disappointing. I

Lovely decor, scenery fantastic. Host very friendly and helpfull

Stained pillowcases. Room Armchair needs cleaning Only one tea option. Tea, coffee and condiments not offered at breakfast.

Friendly staff and breakfast

Uncomfortable bed, no wifi, dogs, no heater. The owner had her clothes in our room, there was no space for us
