Royston Hall Historical Guesthouse

Sharing iron, microwave wasn't wrking, didn't provide hand cream shower gel or even air freshner for the toilet, food was not up to standards, was even served cold milk for my coffee.

Beautiful historic building.I was treated like a princess..scrumptious breakfasts,njammie 5 star cuisine on demand, quiet room, easy parking,super roomservice.Ria and her husband and staff made me feel soooo welcome.Lush gardens, exceptional riverviews.

I could not stay longer

The generous breakfast was lovely. Fruit and yoghurt followed by a full English breakfast as well as coffee and fruit juice. The view of the river from the front of the B&B is incredible. The view of the trees from our room was beautiful with the evening sun streaming through the leaves and the purple flower bushes, butterflies and birds.

We stayed in this place a few years ago and loved it, so it was a bit disappointing this time around when things were not as nice as the first time we stayed. The room had a strong musty/sharp scent that did not go away with airing the room out, the teaspoons were still dirty at the tea and coffee station in the room and the room was advertised to have wifi, but there was no wifi available in the room (we stayed in the Executive Queen Suite/ Suite #2 which is not attached to the main B&B). It was still nice, but we had expected things to be a bit better prepared/cleaned.
