Shining Green View

Beautiful view from bar and terrace. Close to Ella rock hike. Friendly staff and the guys loved the pool table. Staff friendly and helpful wi the sorting transport for anything you like. Some lovely little Restaurants close by.

Slow breakfast service having to ask multiple times for coffee etc. loud drip outside the room which we did escalate a couple of times so hopefully that gets sorted soon. A little bit out of town but that didn’t really bother us.

Wow... what a wonderful vibe here in Ella. We were so lucky that we've found this hotel to spend our vacation in Ella. Actually, one day is not enough at all to explore Ella. We should've stayed one or two more nights in this nice hotel. The hotel staff was very attentive, and they are responsive on any request. We're so grateful to them for their nicest service. Do not skip the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. The coconut sambol and hoppers were so good I considered asking for a job in the kitchen just to stay forever.

The location was amazingly good in terms of views though it’s 10-15 mins from Tuk Tuk to city. The staff was very hospitable and welcoming and helped us in every thing we requested

The hotel is surrounded by a greenly nature. I really liked the vibe here. So calm and picturesque nature. I'm not disappointed at all with my decision to stay here. It was a too short stay in Ella for me, but I will surely visit here again soon.

The view was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You have to get a tuck down to the city up and down. The service was good. Rs.400 down Rs.400 up.

Very nice hotel with amazing views. A bit far from Ella center but they organized tuktuk for us all the time. Trustworthy people, definitely recommend it!

Amazing welcoming and caring hosts, outstanding view from teracce, very nice breakfasts, restaraunt and bar working till the late evening which offers selection of drinks and delicious food ,hot water, 10 min distance by tuk tuk to city centre. Also big advantage that it was possible to pay by card both in hotel and restaraunt. They contacted in advance to clarify arrival time and helped with luggage, also they booked transfer from hotel to Mirissa.

Just a note that accomodation is located high on the hill, so barely accessible by walk (especially after dark). How ever Its absolutely easy to reach Ella town and vice versa by tuk tuk (up to 1000 rupees (approx 2.75€) and taxi for a ride.

We recently stayed at Shining Green View hotel, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The staff, the breakfast, the room, the view and everything were perfect. If you are looking for a blend of nature, calm, and scenic, this is the place to be.
