Good situation on elephantine Island! The owner is very kind and attentioned. We make a boat tour all the day with him and his boat ! Very nice tour around all the little island !

We had a lovely stay (few days) at Labib Guesthouse. The family is welcoming and lives in the same building. They were very responsive to our needs. The wifi is excellent (i could even upload my pictures easily) and the location on this side of the island is the best. You are 3 min walking from the fruit&vegetable&bread market. We had the chance to have a cooking class with the host. She comes and cooks with you in the apartment. She came with us do the groceries and then we cooked a vegetable tajine with the very nice nubian rice and salad (you can choose your recipe like camel meat, chicken, red meat or vegetable only) (the cooking time was 1 hour). Since you cook in the apartment, you eat at your table right after cooking. We had even enough for another meal! it was yummy. If we go back to elefantin, we will stay at Labib again.

Splendid scenery alongside Nile river. Comfortable to those who visited with family.Got motorboat service that help us to go to the other side of island and we also rent to watch sunset. Recommended to those who love peace and good air.People at the island were helpful and nice and can speak English.Language is not a barrier there.Guesthouse owner and his family is very attentive and nice.

So far good but it will be nice if they had breakfast service included but restaurant is near so no worries.
