"An excellent overnighter for Dover port or a short visit to see the history of Dover."

What a great find for Dover. Only 10-15 minutes from the port by car with safe, locked car parking at the rear (would have been happy to overnight a motorbike here). We brought in our own food for the evening and the hostess provided plates etc for us to eat it in the breakfast room, where we spent a pleasant evening playing board games. Excellent value for money, we had the rooms with a shared bathroom. Also a good breakfast to send us on our way to France.

The price was okayish.

It wasn’t very clean, there was a damp stench everywhere. No heating in one of the rooms.
