Sirène Galle Fort

The location, service, welcome, and breakfast were just wonderful!

The breakfast was amazing. Good mix of local options as well as English breakfast like mix cut fruit & coffee. The host, his mother & the caretaker was very nice & helpful. Even arranged us an early morning breakfast at 6am since we were leaving for a train.

Everything was upto the expectation

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Lovely location too. The breakfast was hearty! Well worth the money. Highly recommended.

The room is good, I got the upper floor. It has a nice balcony. I didn't try the breakfast, I forgot the check out time and when I arrived at the hotel to pack my luggage the staff downstairs said "are you forgot?" Funny but it's okay. That's our fault cause we explore the fort. Maybe next time inform us of the check out time when we check in. Cause when we checked in, the staff there couldn't speak English. The location is good though :)

1. 这家民宿坐落在加勒古堡里面，地理位置非常棒，民宿不远处就是海边了，而且古堡本身不是很大，从民宿出发基本上到古堡的各个景点都很容易走路到达。 2. 民宿的房东老奶奶非常和蔼可亲，我们每次出门回来都跟我们打招呼，很热情，房东小哥也主动帮忙提行李。 3. 民宿的房间很干净，虽然房子是几百年前荷兰殖民时期留下的，但是内部维护保养都很不错，住起来很舒服也很干净。 4. 民宿的早餐也很不错，非常丰盛，味道也很赞。

1. 可能因为房子年代久远，所以隔音效果一般般，能听到隔壁的人说话。 2. 要到达顶楼的房间需要爬一个比较窄的旋转楼梯，可能对于腿脚不利索的人来说不太友好，不过当初老房子设计的时候估计也没想到那么多，完全可以理解。 3. 可能地处海边外加周边绿化做得不错，所以民宿内部可能会看到小壁虎，可能对于怕虫的人来说需要注意一下。

We stayed at Sirène Galle Fort for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The property is located inside the beautiful Galle Fort and the area feels quiet, safe and perfect for travelers. The host family was extremely friendly, welcoming and always ready to help. One thing we really loved was the breakfast. Every day they served something different and all the dishes were delicious. The stay was definitely value for money and made our Galle trip even better. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Galle.

The position of the air conditioner could have been bed facing. Else it takes a long time to make the room cold.
