Lovely location, very and helpful staff and amazing breakfast

A lovely hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially the owner named Prasanthi. The breakfast was outstanding. I really love the egg hoppers. Highly recommended!

All great. No problems.

A great location in a traditional house. The room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony / terrace with sliding window to enjoy views of the neighbouring Buddhist temple, the fortifications and sunsets over the see. The owners were helpful and welcoming. We stayed two nights with an excellent breakfast the first morning and a small packed breakfast kindly prepared for us as we had an 8am taxi back to the airport.

Nothing, though an earlier option for breakfast time would have been great

This was our first accommodation in Sri Lanka and we wrongly assumed the welcome and service would all be like Sirene. Our friendly hosts here served us the best breakfast we had in all of our 3 week travels. We appreciated the free cold water on arrival and the location was perfect. Lovely old building with basic rooms but spotlessly clean.

Amazing breakfast, best of our trip. Very yummy and perfectly cooked egg hoppers. Perfect location right next to the fort wall and a street from Pedlar street. Very easy to see all of the area. Small guest house exactly as described and was exactly as we expected. Cosy, basic, clean and very comfortable. Air con was lovely and cold.

We would have loved a small fridge in the room to keep cold water. You could buy cold bottles for 100lkr so wasn’t a big deal. And kettle for cup of tea as we wake really early. Quite possible could have made a cup of tea downstairs however we only stayed one night and didn’t ask.

No kettle in the room, otherwise very good
