Kanthi and her visiting daughter were very accommodating and so friendly and engaging. Making us feel so welcome. We were treated like family whilst our every need was met enthusiastically. We extended our stay and they went out of their way to enable this during such a busy festival time. Kandy central was within walking distance along the lake and there is a great pizza restaurant across the lane. Kanthi cooked us a lovely breakfast and we could relax on the balcony to view the lake.

The staff here were unbelievable. Always available for you. It was also my birthday during my stay and Dinusha went above and beyond to make sure it was special for me with a little party and handmade decorations he did himself. Complete with a birthday cake. The room was perfect for what we needed.

We had booked a lake view room which wasnt the case. Not a problem for us as the only time we were in our room was to sleep or change. Beautiful view from the communal areas though. Also not a problem for us but bear in mind it is up a steep hill.

Great position and super nice staff! The guy who was taking care of us was simply amazingly kind and helpful: he also organized for us the breakfast at the top floor with a nice view!

A warm welcome and cold drink when we arrived which we very much appreciated. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the lake so near enough to walk to places but also quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle. A great view from the hotel. The room was clean, basic but comfortable and ideal for a short stay. We especially wanted to leave a good review as the young man who welcomed us was so nice and we made an error with leaving hundreds instead of thousands for a tip for him but we did appreciate his warm, friendly welcome.

Very welcoming kind host; staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great views. We had a family apartment at the top of the villa, felt private & safe, ideal for families with children but we also met younger travellers and an older couple who were all happy too. Lots of good food options close by. Short walk to the lake.
