Mount Haven

I had the most wonderful stay at Mount Haven in Kandy. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and felt instantly at home. The location is perfect—tucked away in the hills, offering peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views over Kandy. The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. Waking up to birdsong and mist-covered hills was a dream. Breakfast was delicious—fresh, generous portions, and served with a smile. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. Whether you’re visiting Kandy for culture, nature, or simply to relax, I can’t recommend Mount Haven enough. A true hidden gem! What I like the most is the host, they are very nice, and their dog “Bella” is also lovely. Hope to have a chance to visit Kandy and stay here again.

Room is stunning. Hosts are super friendly. Lovely breakfast. Lots of knowledge about Sri Lanka.

The plug socket in the shower was a bit questionable.

坐在阳台吹凉风，能看到远处的山雾缭绕，小松鼠在电线杆爬过，小鸟在屋顶停留，老鹰在天空飞翔，如歌唱般的鸟叫声和青蛙声此起彼伏，空气很清新，让人的心灵异常平静。房子设计和摆设很有格调，还含丰盛早餐，房主非常友善。二楼有两个房间，一定要选择带阳台的豪华房，空间比另一间普通的大很多。

前往房子的上坡路有点难开

아침식사는 하푸텔라 기차 시간 8시30분 떄문에 샌드위치 포장으로 사모님께서 준비 해주셔서 기차에서 아침을 했습니다 분위기는 가정집 분위기 입니다 1층 2층으로 되어 있습니다 위치는 캔디 제일 산위에 위치하고 있습니다 시내에서 툭툭으로 max 500루피 (1500원) 나옵니다 저는 2년전 저 혼자 이숙소 2층에 숙박을 하고 뷰가 좋아서 다시 제 와이프와 2층숙소에서 숙박을 했습니다 이 숙소 사장님 이신분이 의사인데요 자제분들이 모두 미국 호주에 사시고 사모님과 두분이서 이곳을 운영 하시는거 같아요 항상 오래 건강 하셨으면 합니다

숙소가 캔디 언덕 꼭대기에 있기에 위치합니다 저는 좋았는데 다른 분들은 몰라서요 에어콘은 없어요 냉장고는 식당 주인집 냉장고 사용합니다 숙소에서 5분 10분 내 시내 툭툭 이로 다녀 올수 있어요 사장님 사모님에게 말씀하시면 바로 툭툭이 불러 주십니다 걱정 마세요

ホームステイのような感覚、ホストからの優しさと思いやりを感じたいならここがおすすめです！ シンプルで心地のいい、静かで平和な滞在でした。 キャンディの街中まではトゥクトゥクで10分もかかりません。 ホストのマリアと奥様はすごく素敵な方で、 ご家族の写真や訪れた国々の思い出の品が飾っているのは間違いなく素敵なファミリーの証です！滞在中はいつでも気にかけてくれました。 マリアはかつて日本に住んでいたこともあり私たちは日本の話題で盛り上がりました。 朝ごはんはリクエストすれば、奥様が用意してくださいます。 部屋にはドライヤーやシャンプーなどのアメニティはありませんので、持参してください。 タオルと石鹸がありました。 窓から見える景色は美しいので、朝は鳥たちの鳴き声を聞きながらバルコニーでゆっくり過ごせたこともよかったです。 次回来ることがあれば是非戻ってきたいです。

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Nimal et Lanka, un couple très gentil et très chaleureux. Chambre agréable, propre, et avec une vue magnifique sur la nature. C'était fantastique de se réveiller avec les oiseaux chaque matin

A very welcoming homestay run by a senior couple and their cute dog Bella. They made us feel at home right away. We had great conversations during the stay. The house is beautiful in a secluded area. The room we stayed in had nice view with lots of greens around. The room size was huge with a beautiful balcony. Breakfast was sumptuous too.

Nothing really. The approach road is a bit narrow and steep, so if you are driving yourself that's something you need to consider.
