IRThe atmosphere of the accommodation. The breakfast
The resort had a dog kept within the premises, with its food and water bowls placed on the floor. This led to saliva and food particles spreading on the ground, making the floor seem unclean. Additionally, the ground-floor room lacked privacy, as the owner lived in the same space. Another point to note is that the owner offered an expensive city tour package, which seemed unreasonable.
DESehr schöne, britisch angehauchte Unterkunft. Es wurde sich gut um uns gekümmert, das Frühstück war lecker & uns wurde direkt ein Roller zum ausleihen organisiert. Alles sehr unkompliziert.
Vor allem die Badewanne/Dusche hätte sauberer sein können. Wir hätten uns Pflegeprodukte, z.B. Duschgel gewünscht.
GBThis absolutely beautiful room blew us away, the windows are huge giving incredible views and light throughout the room. I sat in bed at sunrise and watched the monkeys eating jackfruit in the trees. The location is great, we walked into town even though we had our own tuktuk. The owners are so welcoming and kind, we felt so well looked after.
We would have loved a Sri Lankan savoury breakfast, it's not for everyone but we'd have loved to give a preference that we'd have been very happy with curry for breakfast.
BENa een lange tocht met de tuk tuk was het aangenaam aan te komen op een mooie rustige locatie op een heuvel temidden van het drukke Kandy. De zeer ruime kamer met balkon biedt je een mooi uitzicht. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en gaf meteen een aantal tips voor activiteiten in de omgeving. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en wordt geserveerd in de leefruimte van de host.
GBMe and my family have stayed at this guest house 3 times now and will continue to do so every time we return to Sri Lanka. This time I returned with my partner Mattia. I, myself, am gluten and lactose intolerant and Lanka, always made a beautiful breakfast that I could eat. They truly want only the best for their guests and will go above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay. But truly, their driver Lalith is an incredible man. He made our trip to Sri Lanka and we cannot recommend him enough for his kindness, honesty and time. For 3 days from 8am to 8pm he took to a variety of destinations from temples to waterfalls to tea plantations and cooking classes. Thank you for opening your wonderful home to us Nimal and Lanka- we hope to see you soon!
CZBEWe had a lovely stay at Mount Haven. We were welcomed with a juice which we enjoyed. Our host was very kind and helpful by arranging activities and transportation. The bed was comfortable and we had warm water for the shower.
The bed linens and towels were clean, but the room could have been a little bit cleaner, especially the little mats on the floor.
ESIt was quiet, removed from town and a pleasant retreat. The owners are incredibly friendly and generous hosts
