The staff was wonderful and they were nice enough to upgrade our room which was a pleasant surprise. Very walkable and near the canal, shops, restaurants. We wished we could’ve stayed longer in Otaru and will certainly be back to Oooooh Home.

Really hospitable owner who is also knowledgeable about Otaru. I was recommended to lots of good restaurants and touring places in the area so my dinner choice was easy. Extremely clean and tidy room with beautiful views especially when it’s snowing outside. Had to catch 7am train but the futon was so comfy that I almost had to delay lol. The best home stay experience I’ve had so far and would definitely would recommend to family and friends. 10/10 for the stay and 12/10 for the lovely interactions.
