Beautiful stylish house near town centre

Can’t answer this question as I never saw the property. Morning of check in I was informed I had been switched to another property without my consent. I was told this was an upgrade and the new property was only a couple of streets from the original. It was actually 0.7 of a mile and away from the area I wanted to be. Once I realised the location of the new property I asked the host for my original choice but he told me it hadn’t been cleaned and I would have to wait around in town for 1.5 hours for it to be prepared. As it was already 16.30 I reluctantly accepted the replacement. All the time I kept being told they had switched me for my benefit! I wasn’t going to write any review at all but have been forced to as booking.com haven’t responded to my messages of august 3 and 7 about this.

The property was immaculately clean. Newly refurbished. Would definitely stay again

Lovely clean room and near to train station

Just a room in a shared house. Didn't spend a day in it. Was non refundable.

only acceptable if you have the one, and only bathroom, to yourself... unfortunately, this property has 2 bedrooms

Don't change my selected property 3 hours before check in, when I am still on an airplane and without WiFi ! Don't pretend it was an upgrade - just be honest and give the genuine reason ?

Paris was very responsive and helpful.

The host placed me in property that was different to the one I booked on Booking. The address was much further than I expected and wanted. Did not like that house keeping knew the code of my bedroom door and entered to show a prospective guest around. Not appropriate, but Paris called to apologise.
