Beautiful stylish house near town centre

Good location, Kitchen was well equipped

The room was very small you could not leave a suitcase open. The only place to open one was on the very small bed. The bed was so uncomfortable, with the mattress and base sagging so much you feel like you are going to fall out the bed. We moved out to another hotel the next day losing one nights accommodation.

It's a lovely house that's shared with other guests. Very clean and lovely kitchen. Main bedroom is great. The smaller room is also comfortable.

The smaller rooms had very dim lighting. Maybe a lamp would be good. Also the double beds were quite small for two people.

Brand new facilities and proximity to the city c3ntre

The property manager was not on site but dealt with complaints expeditiously- barring the enforcement of kitchen rules.

My room was lovely and clean and the host kindly left some water and biscuits. It was just what I needed after a busy day at the British grand prix The host had numbered cupboards in the shared kitchen to use which was nice, although there were some things stored in them.

The shared kitchen wasnt that clean when I arrived. There were lots of unwashed pans etc thankfully they were washed later that night. It would have been nice to have an allocated space in the fridge as there was some food that had seen better days in there that didnt smell too nice. It would be nice to be told about permit parking and a need for deposit on booking. Thankfully the host phoned me before I arrived so that I could sort this out. I did get my deposit back straight away for the permit which was good.

The facilities are good and everything is brand new

Shared or communal kitchens are a good idea but only when everyone follows the rules. This includes not leaving dishes of food and unwashed utensild standing around. And when the pots contain curry, it means that the entire house - not only the kitchen - smells of curry. In fact, the smell of curry permeated the place 24/7.
