Applinger Farm

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, she had cute christmas decor.

The reason we booked the place was for the hot tub and grill. We arrived to a half empty cold hot tub and dirty grill we could not turn on. When we messaged the host she said hot tub was not working for a week, and she didnt think we would use the grill so she didnt prepare it. We told her we were never notified beforehand and would have booked somewhere else if we knew, so we were requesting a refund. But she never responded after that... The room lists a number for her husband as well, so we called him, he apologized and said he has not lived there for three months and could not help us.

The room was clean, cozy, and cheerful. The holiday decorations were heartwarming.

The location is quiet but not too far to the highway.

This is a very comfortable and quiet place to stay. It is very homey.

I loved the whole experience. The hostess Lisa was the best, so welcoming and warm and full of information. She answered all my questions and made a few suggestions. Loved all the amenities and the location and the fact that she had the hot tub ready for us. The bed and pillows were so comfy for us. The homemade apple chips and snacks were such a plus especially since we got there late and were hungry. Lisa suggested a few places to go eat. We ended up going to El Tapatio restaurant which was very close on the other side of the freeway, which was one of the only restaurants open late close to us and it did not disappoint either. The food, the prices and the hospitality was also great. I recommend that place for Mexican as well. I only wish we could have stayed there longer at Applinger Farms to enjoy the hot tub and the beautiful grounds. I am definitely booking this place again when in town. I highly recommended,

The home is nestled in the middle of meadows with beautiful views all around. Its short drive to Ashland and a perfect place to relax and rejuvinate. The amenities and cleanliness is very good and we loved the stay at the property.

This is our second time staying. We love the host, Lisa, the suite, the hot tub, the location, all the snacks provided and my husband got a great haircut from Lisa as well. Her salon is on property. Great location. We discovered a new breakfast place in Talent, 5 minutes away. The OSF theaters are 10 minutes away. It makes it easy to come back between plays for a little rest before going back in the evening. The hot tub is always relaxing. The yard/outdoor/hot tub area is very private and beautifully decorated. There are robes and nice think towels to get from the suite to the hot tub. There are horses in the fields that will come up to say hi across the fence. The bed is very comfortable. And there is a nice sitting area and desk for my husband to work.

This was our second stay and we travel to Ashland 2 to 3 times a year. Always delightful staying at the ranch. So much better then a noisy hotel. Love the little deck and horses that come to visit.
