Applinger Farm

NA, but coffee maker was good.

Nothing.

Lisa was a wonderful host, and the room and amenities were lovely. We particularly enjoyed our complimentary dried apple slices and an early morning hot tub, relaxing with the view.

The property was very cozy and the surrounding farm area was beautiful.

Nothing that I really didn’t like, but if I could change something, I would say it would be nice to be able to control the air temperature in the room

Strong smelling disinfectant

All the amenities in the room were wonderful.

The only thing missing was shampoo and conditioner in the shower. But, I had brought my own by chance.

The personable hosts, the quiet room, the many amenities provided, the private deck, the comfortable bed, the cleanliness. They thought of everything!

I had no complaints.

This has got to be my 4th stay I believe. The hosts are always wonderful and accommodating. I ran into an issue with my arrival time and reached out to Lisa to see if she could help me out. She was such a gem through the entire process of my personal debacle. Privacy, security, and cleanliness always wins at Applinger Farm Suite. Each season brings a new treat and it is fun to see what goodie will be left for the guests. Upon arrival it was a hot day and a little warm in the room as it is tied to the main house. I sent Lisa a little text and she responded immediately and made the temperature adjustment so I could cool down. After the long drive, that shower is always a welcome reprieve (wish I brought my bathing suit for the SPA that was working and ready to soak my aching muscles, oh well next time!)

The only thing is my body can't seem to handle super soft cushy mattresses anymore. I kept sinking in like I was in a hammock. I thought it was just last time with my husband complaining about it being too soft and we ended up sleeping across the bed vs laying on it like you are supposed to..lol. Oh well, I'd rather have too soft than too hard of a mattress I guess for this tired bod. Mattresses are the ultimate challenge for any person as it is a personal preference. I know that next time if my hubby makes the I-5 run with me, I will contact Lisa direct to see if there have been any mattress updates ;)
