Breakfast was excellent, love that it was served in our room. The bed was comfortable & liked the fact we had tea / coffee facilities in the room. Bathroom was clean & tidy. A nice little room for an overnight stay overlooking the pool.

We found a bit of an odd smell in the hallway leading to our room.

Location is great, off the busy street. The brew building is set back and had a nice Bertie of the gardens and pool.

This is a smoking property and I left early as this affected me and I ended up with a respiratory infection. Daily I’d get smoke into my room from people in the property smoking on their balconies. Please not I selected the non smoking filter on this app. The cleaning could be much what too, bathroom was mouldy and towels weren’t great

The location is great. The pool area and gardens are lovely. The room itself was a decent size. Comfortable bed. The owner very kind gave me a 3 night refund due to issues of smokers at the property. If you don’t smoke then it’s not a place for healthy yoga types sadly.

The smokers. Room was flooded by cigarette smoke from other guests, I need up with a chest infection and left early as it was unbearable. I checked non smoking filter on this app to my surprise majority of guest smoked on their balcony. The staff are sweet but useless at cleaning so the bathroom was very mouldy. Came home from yoga feeling peaceful to find men shooting and killing squirrels which was pretty distressing seeing 3 dead in the ground.

Please set the birds free! So many of them in tiny cages with poor welfare, not enough space to fly, kept in direct sun with no shade. A terrible life and way to treat creatures and not something I want to see

Peaceful staying on top room overlooking trees Pool was great in hot weather . Close to Alchemy food & yoga. Bed was comfy .

The location is perfect, located far enough from the overly touristy palace area but close enough to great restaurants and yoga studios. The grounds are very well kept and the room itself was spacious and tidy. The staff are really lovely and very accommodating and were kind enough to stay up late to welcome me after my flight landed late at night. The breakfast is simple but very nice and it gets brought to your room so you can enjoy it in comfort on your own patio.

Unfortunately I found my sleep was quite disrupted at the property. There are cockerels that run wild around the grounds and start shouting loudly at 5am directly outside the rooms. I also found the room to be extremely damp, the bed sheets and towels smelt very bad and I had to use my own towel as a result. Lastly, there are many small birds kept in tiny cages in the reception area which I found very cruel and unnecessary. Most of them were flapping around in desperation and it wasn’t nice to see

We enjoyed the very friendly staff and owners, the resident dogs, cats and chickens, the pool and the delicious breakfasts.
